Im thinking I'll make a "review" for new shows coming out! ...or not [img]tongue.gif[/img]

First off, what to say, other than... it's freakin' gorgeous! The animation in this show is great! It's done by the people who did Jackie Chan adventures (a great LOOKING show) and this almost looks as if it were the same style, only with Batman and Gotham City! (well, a little different)
But, with the older Batman cartoons, sometimes they would even be off-model sometimes, but even during the action/fight scenes, it looks great! actually, ECSPECIALLY at the fight scenes!


As for story, it could be better, but hey, it's kid-oriented twoards them interacting with the toys and the show (which reminds me, I have to pick up those "TV activated" ones and see what happens) But it actually isn't THAT bad for story! A few things are somewhat out of continuity (like Batman asking the Joker who he is) but, it ended up setting up it's own world/version of Batman! It actually seemed a little rushed, but it was definately a classic story of Joker wants to kill everyone in Gotham, Batman stops him, Joker gets mad and gets caught, yet they still kept it at least a little original! And the addition of parts of the epsiodes watching how the detectives reeact is nice storytelling too.

As for voice acting.... I dont like the choice for Bruce Wayne/Batman too much, sounds too much like a young, naive ... x-man [img]tongue.gif[/img] (think Evolution voice actors)
But on a weird note, I was surprised to find that a regular on the short-lived Clerks animated series did the voice for the Joker, and his more normal voice usually used on Clerks for the newscaster, early on in the episode. (Just some stupid cartoon facts for yas)

All-in-all, it's a good show, nice style, and after you watch it, it might grow on ya!
